Last Saturday I was tagged by my good friend Goldy to attend
Global Mala Manila 2014. When she first mentioned it, I had no idea what it was and I’m uncertain if I should say yes or no. I immediately researched the
intention of the event and when I found out about their vision, I got super
giddy on joining the practice.
Global Mala Project is an event to bring the yoga community
together from every continent, school and approach to form a "mala around
the earth" through collective practices based upon the sacred cycle of 108
(108 Surya Namaskar, Mantra, Kriya, Meditation). These events will be happening
globally on the following cities: Los Angeles, New York, London, San Francisco,
Tokyo, etc. and said to be the largest unified yoga event to promote positive
change.
For this year, they offered dance, meditation, poi,
kundalini and the usual yoga classes. We super love Yoga Trance Dance led by
Teresa Herrera!
Okay let me tell you what I discovered. This is the first
time I tried Trance dance and I fell in love with it. For me, it was a total
stress releaser and it cultivated my freedom. We were told to close our eyes
while dancing and just surrender ourselves to the experience. The practice
itself will help you let loose your creative force inside. It will also awaken
your inner power and breathe by being present in your own body. The teacher
will encourage you to just move inside your own universe and live at the
moment.
Sharing with you some photos of the event that I grabbed from Global Mala Facebook Page:
All in all, I am very grateful that I got to attend this kind of event with a good cause. Cheers to more self discoveries, healthy body, awareness, acceptance and freedom.
"May all beings everywhere be happy and free and may the thoughts, words and actions of my life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all."
I can’t believe I’m saying this but, NAMASTE.

One of the few things that I look forward to everyday is my
Coffee Break. I'm not a heavy caffeine drinker and I can survive the day
without it. But, what I like about it is the thought of you and your colleagues sharing the same table, discussing diverse perspectives and expressing insights
on different matters. It’s that one holy hour wherein you can utter out
frustrations, have a good laugh and escape the nerve-racking vibe inside the workplace.
For some, this is the best time to conduct brain storming and have one on ones.
I gotta say I am a fan also of Artisan Coffee Shops. I love
how they style their interiors, either shady, corporate, grab-and-go or like a
hipster hang out. But I’d prefer someplace quiet and has a lot of sockets of
course! I also fancy trying out different kinds of beans from home grown to export ones. Also, once you're there, you'll be amazed by how passionate these baristas are in preparing your drink and exerting effort in making coffee arts! Lucky me I work in the heart of Legazpi Village in Makati where there are too many Coffee Shops around that bloomed like mushrooms on a huge
rainforest, amazing right?
For some who doesn’t know me personally, I started a
Project Coffee Exploration late last year wherein I visit Coffee shops during my lunch break. I haven’t blogged about it yet but I’m going and I can't handle my excitement in sharing with you the best ones!
For now let's just enjoy the bed weather and a cuppa hot coffee.
Do you know a perfect place for Coffee? Let me know!

It feels great to just wander around and discover God's
beautiful creations. It’s very comforting to just lay and rest while hearing
birds chirping, leaves rustling, dogs play around and wind breezing. What a
beautiful place to live in right? I'm perpetually grateful that my home is
surrounded with gigantic trees, green grass, blossoming flowers and healthy
soil. My home is maybe few miles away from the city, but I have no complaints.
My home is where I get tranquility, the only place where I need to go whenever
I feel insane and my safe haven in finding deeper meaning.
Hope you had a blessed and meaningful weekend just like
mine.
If you’re having a bad day, take it easy. Take a deep breath
and smile.
Everything is going to be okay
Sharing with you my snapshots:
Peace, Love and Light.
