Weekend Warriors: San Narciso, Zambales
5:51 AM
It was one Saturday when my cousins and I talked about going
to the beach and try surfing. With one week of planning, a spontaneous voyage was
executed perfectly! Hoorah a road trip to the beach! So how did we get there? 1st,
we rode a bus going to Olongapo. We researched that it is better to ride an
Olongapo bus given that it will pass to SCTEX instead of the towns in Zambales.
In short, it is not time consuming. We
went down at the bus terminal and rode another bus going to Iba, Zambales. We
travelled for at least 1hour to San Narciso where Crystal Beach Resort is
residing.
Crystal Beach Resort is heaven for surfers and campers! We were
daunted by the time we saw the entire place. It was awfully serene, clean and vast.
We stayed on a Congo Hut. It has no air con, but undeniably not a setback since
there were Pine Trees everywhere that supplies cold air at anytime of the day. For
campers, there’s no problem when it comes to restroom. We all know we need one!
So there were public restrooms, grilling station and a sari sari store. The
beach shore was stretched and extensive! The waves were gigantic and sturdy. The
water was so clear and blue! There were also Hammocks and Nipa huts on the
shore where you can rest and just chill while the waves are serenading you. It
was my first time to beach bum and by no means shed even a single sweat even
the sun was blazing hot.
The Kampsite - this is where you can set up your tent. There are also available grilling stations and public restrooms around.
The beach - no need to hide under your umbrella because there are enough nipa huts where you can stay while beach bumming. Those little plants are pine trees.
Huge waves to come deary!
Breathtaking blue water in the afternoon.
My favorite beach buddies/travel bums.
Hammock loving
It was a nice road trip on a weekend. Looking forward to
much more new adventures this year! But
for now, HELLO SUMMER! I’ve missed you!
